Fasteners

Nailing or stapling down wood floors is the most common installation method. The process involves nailing or stapling the wood flooring directly to a wood subfloor. Typically, the flooring is blind nailed through the tongue into the wooden subfloor so that the nails are not visible after the flooring is installed. This installation method works for solid and engineered and some bamboo wood floors, domestic and exotic, but only for wood subfloors.

Cleats

Specifically designed for the application of hardwood flooring, Primatech steel cleats are ideal for fixing various types of wood strips or planks to bases such as plywood or joists.

Each cleat features a sharp set of barbs on each side to provide just the right amount of holding power.

This design allows floors to expand and contract with seasonal cycles, thereby preserving their integrity and providing a lifetime of performance.

Stainless steel

Use on ACQ treated materials as well as composite decking or boat building or any applications that require a non-corrosive fastener. These nails meet the specific needs of ACQ Nailing applications.

For 1/2″ to 33/32″ (12 mm to 26 mm) flooring. To be used for special applications where corrosion resistance is required.

Glue

G060

G060 PrimStick is a thermoplastic hot melt adhesive designed for a wide variety of applications. It features an instant tack and fast cure time. It is non-toxic, has minimal VOCs, and virtually no smell. The unique formulation enables superior bonding to a variety of porous and non-porous materials. G060 bonds to materials including, but not limited to, wood, concrete, metals, plastics, rubber, corrugate, ceramic, and many others. It is clear in color and has medium open and set time. G060 is available in ½” x 10″ sticks.

G180

The unique formula enables excellent bonding to a variety of porous and non-porous materials. G180 bonds to materials including, but not limited to, wood, concrete, metals, plastics, rubber, corrugate, ceramic, and many others. It is light yellow in color and has a long open time and set time. G180 has a high heat and cold resistance. It is available in ½” x 10″ sticks.
